Are the Cornhole gams regulation?
Absolutely! Every aspect of cornhole games is the official / regulation size, distances, and dimensions. Each cornhole board is standard 4 feet long by 2 feet wide. The hole is 6 inches in diameter. These dimensions are the generally accepted standards for the American Cornhole Association and the American Cornhole Organization.
What are the cornhole boards made of?
Our cornhole boards are made of a very durable and sturdy B/C sanded birch or oak veneer plywood top attached to a 1x4 premium stud frame. The cornhole frames for the boards consist of 1x4s secured with screws and then glued and pluged, while the cornhole playing board is attached with finished nails. The legs are made from very sturdy 1x4s as well and attached with steel bolts, washers and lock nuts. We use only the highest grade lumber and old-fashioned joinery (no unsightly screw holes) all this to assure many years of enjoyment.
Why do you frame your cornhole set with 1×4’s?
Aren’t 2×4’s stronger?
We do in fact use 1×4’s. And yes, 2×4’s are stronger, but they also hold up houses. We don’t feel their strength is necessary for framing a 10-lb piece of plywood (not to mention nearly double the weight of the cornhole boards). Contrary to popular belief, our preference for 1×4’s has nothing to do with cost. They are choice clear pine and cost more than the stud grade 2×4’s used by many of our competitors. Though we prefer to construct out sets with 1×4’s, we do custom work and will frame your cornhole boards with whatever you want.
How can I order cornhole products from your company?
You can place an order through our web page or by phone where we accept most major credit cards or by calling us to place your order. Our local customers are always welcome to stop in and place your order in person.
Are your donated sets free? Or just discounted?
We guess it depends on who you are, what you do, and our current workload. We are always willing to play a role in any organization’s success – even if it is as simple as a custom cornhole set that may make some hard working volunteers smile and maybe even raise a couple bucks to the cause. Contact us – what’s the worst that can happen?
How long have you been producing cornhole sets?
We’ve been doing this since 2007. Having produced nearly 1500 sets by 2015, we can confidently say that we have found our niche on the high end of the quality spectrum when it comes to producing custom cornhole sets.
Do you build the cornhole boards yourself?
Or do you outsource them to a manufacturer?
We build them right here, with our own hands.
How far apart should the cornhole boards be?
Cornhole can be played on just about any flat surface, including grass and pavement. In a regulation setup, the holes are set 33 feet apart. That's 27 feet between the fronts of the boards, for easy measuring. Find more tips here.
